Annual JSA Sukkot

Sun Oct 27 2024 7:00AM – 11:00PM | Sun Oct 27 2024

Event Description:

Sukkot is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the fall harvest and commemorates the time the Israelites spent living in temporary shelters in the desert after leaving Egypt. The holiday lasts for seven days, and during this time, Jewish people build and live in temporary structures called "sukkahs". We will be constructing a sukkahs here on campus for the purpose of celebrating Sukkot. This structure will serve as a place where we can gather, eat, and learn more about the holiday and its traditions. Everyone is welcome to join in the building process and participate in the activities during Sukkot.
